LitFit Nooks: Virtual meetups that inspire
LitFit Nook (noun): A no-frills, come-as-you-are gathering of 4-6 book lovers who meet on Zoom to support each other in fulfilling their individual reading and movement intentions for the month.
❋ Real humans, real time. No app. No AI.
❋ 5 meetups with the same 4-6 people.
❋ 1 meetup every 4 weeks.
❋ 60 minutes per meetup.
❋ Pay what you can.
❋ REQUIREMENT
Commit to attending all five meetups at the same time each month. Think of the meetups like crew: if one rower doesn’t show up, the boat is short-handed. If you don’t want to show up for the same people at the same time each month for four months, then Nooks aren’t the right thing for you. If you DO want to commit to a Nook, see below for “how to join.”
At each meetup, you’ll set two micro-goals (“intentions”) for the month—one for reading, one for moving your body. These are your own, personal intentions—books and movement practices that you want to experience; literal fitness that matters to you; any book genre, any form of exercise. No intention is too small or idiosyncratic.
❋ Your Goals
We listen to each other. We learn from each other. We share what we’re comfortable sharing. No need to prove ourselves. No need to “outdo” each other. No need to force transformations. Show up in pajamas or high heels or a soaked sweat band (or all three).
